This changing table/dresser was re-done with chalk paint and NAPKINS! Yes, you heard me napkins. After a trip to old faithful aka HomeGoods, I was sucked into the checkout line wonderland of last minute grabs. They had tons of party napkins in such pretty designs. Naturally, I chose 10 different packs, and then after two slow scoot-ups of the line, put back 5 because who needs that many napkins?? I loved the pattern on these beautiful floral ones and my creative wheels started to spin.

I had a cute little dresser that I wanted to make into a changing table/little girls dresser. I grabbed my Annie Sloan chalk paint and painted away. The drawers were so plain and I wanted a POP. So I found some Modge Podge matte finish and pasted the drawer front. I took apart the 2-ply napkins to get a nice shear effect and gently placed them on the drawers. I cut away the excess and stepped back. GORGEOUSNESS! I continued the pattern throughout all of the drawers then went back and added adorable, white enamel hardware. Perfection. NAPKINS. Who would have thought.

Again, you don't need to spend a ton of money to get that wow piece. All you need is an up-cycled dresser and napkins with an adorable design.

Happy creating!
